WHAT TIME IS IT?

GOD'S CALENDAR indicates activity in the Kingdom is accelerating, anticipating the seventh biblical month and the important activities linked with it; beginning with the first sliver September 19th, 2009. Some mistakenly believe this is the beginning or (head) of God's year but this is clearly shown as false by God's word in Exodus 12:2. "This month shall be the beginning of your months, It shall be the first month of the year to you."   The month that contains Passover is clearly shown to be the beginning of God's year! There is no place in scripture where the Lord say's its any different.

For those who have no shophar but wish to honor Jehovah's command to blow a shophar in the days of your gladness, in your appointed feasts and at the beginnings of our months.(New Moons) And over your offerings for a memorial for you before your God.
(Numbers 10:10) you may download our study Blow the Shophar" posted 12/21/2006 to play at the appointed times.

The true date for the first month of GOD'S CALENDAR year can only be determined by barley coming into a stage of ripeness called "Aviv".
A thorough search for Aviv was conducted in Isreal by Mr Nehemia Gordon and his team March 26 and 27, 2009. Barley samples from the Jordan valley as well as the Negev were from 70 to 90 percent aviv and in sufficient quanities for harvest in 2 weeks. This sign coupled with the first sliver which appeared Friday night March 27th, 2009 signaled the beginning of the Kingdoms new year!   It is very important to pay close attention to Jehovah's signals so we walk in proper time with Him. Stay tuned!

SHOULD YOU KEEP THE FEASTS?

Ordering the first 70 days of God's calendar

Passover,Unleavened bread,First Fruits

Once the new year is determined, but before it begins; remove any tithes from your dwelling making certain they are given properly. Speak the associated blessing over your home and family. (Deut 14:22-29, Deut 26:12-15)

The progression of days in the first month of GOD'S CALENDAR are as follows: New moon- 1st day began the evening of the March 27th,2009. A video link is available to view the Aviv moon sighting with us above this article. The 10th day, April 6th, buy your lamb or goat. The 14th day, April 10th at twlight; Passover begins the feast of Unlevened Bread. The 1st and 7th days of the feast are Sabbaths (Lev 23:1-14)(Ex 12:1-20).

The 1st day of Unleavened Bread is a sabbath no matter what day of the week it falls on. Wait for the weekly Sabbath. The next day, April 12th; offer the First Fruit offering the day after the Sabbath. Begin from the Sabbath, (the day before) to count 50 days or omers, 7 cycles of 7 plus 1. An omer was the measure of manna given 1 person for 1 day thus 1 omer = 1 day. 50 days brings us to Pentecost, May 31, 2009! Pentecost is also known as the Feast of Weeks. These instructions are found in Leviticus 23:15-21.

The First Fruit offering on Pentecost is found in Lev 23:17. Two raised loafs of bread made with leaven are to be waived before the Lord on that day. They are then to be consumed by the priest who waived them and his family. The symbolism of this prophetic act is as follows. On the day after the sabbath, the first fruit waive offering was made. It represented the first ripe of the harvest and what the rest of the harvest will become.

1 Cor 15:20-24 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ's at His coming.

Rom 11:16 For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches.

Christ was raised up before God on the day after the Sabbath guaranteeing the Father a harvest of rightous souls from the earth. 50 days later the promise of the Father came upon those gathered in the upper room and 3000 were added to the church that day! The two loaves represent the finished work of Christ; the Jew and Gentile raised up together before the Lord.

If you would like further instruction on First Fruits listen to "First Fruits in the Kingdom" in the media player on page 3 of this site. Remember, First Fruits aren't tithes! Please take the time to learn this key principle.
