A new kingdom year begins during our March - April time frame when the barley in Israel enters "Aviv" and the moon enters conjunctive darkness (dark of the moon) 7. Lunar year 354 days 8. Every 3rd year a leap month is inserted by rabbinic decree 9. During the captivity Babylonian names replaced Yah's numbered system. Nissan, the 1st month, followed by Iyar, Sivan, Tammuz, Av, Elul, Tishri, Chishvan, Kislev, Tevet, Shvat, Adar 1, Adar 2 10. Contains holidays that aren't listed in Leviticus 23 and Numbers 28 - 29 11. The Sanhedrin will soon declare the first visible sliver the beginning of the month if they haven't already |

2. Based on solar reckoning 3. Days begin at 12 A.M. 4. New months begin when the allotment of days in the old month expire 5. 30 or 31 days in every month except February (28 days) 6. New year takes place January 1st based on man's computation 7. Solar year 365 days 8. Every 4th year is a leap year. An extra day is inserted (February 29th) by man's design 9. First month, January, named after Roman deity of gates ( Janus). Many days of the week and months are named after deities 10. Contains holidays not listed in Leviticus 23 and Numbers 28 - 29 11. It will be impossible to follow this calendar and correctly match the Lord's timing |
