When will the Seventh month begin?
The evening of September 4th, 2024 the first sliver, (new moon) will signal the beginning of the 7th kingdom month and The Feast of Trumpets or Shavuot. September 14th, the Day of Atonement or Yom Kippur takes place. The fifteenth day, September 19th, 2024 the Feast of Tabernacles begins lasting eight days until October 7th at sunset. This is the last great day spoken of in John 7:37-38: Jesus stood and cried out saying, "If anyone thirsts let them come unto Me and drink. He who believes in Me as the scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." You can find the outline for Yahweh's calendar in Leviticus ch 23.
Lev 23:4 'These are the feasts of the Lord, holy convocations which you shall proclaim at their appointed times. NKJV
The Hebrew word (mik-raw') translated "convocation" meaning, "The persons, places and acts of a public meeting. A reenactment or a rehearsal
I am using the list from Leviticus 23 but there is a similar list in Numbers chapters 28 and 29. Please note that New Moons are included (Numbers 28:11-15) as an appointed time but not as a convocation or rehearsal. They are not included in Leviticus 23 which only lists rehearsals and reenactments.
Because our topic is the timing of these feasts, and because of the length of this portion; I am only showing sections that relate to proper timing. For better understanding, please read these chapters yourself.
Lev 23:23-36 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, "Speak to the children of Israel, saying: 'In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a sabbath-rest, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. "Also the tenth day of this seventh month shall be the Day of Atonement. The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days to the Lord.
Are these rehearsals or reenactments done at specific times to communicate a special message? The first month on the Kingdom's calendar is "Aviv" matching today's March- April time frame. The message embedded in the reenactments begins here.
On the previous page I have shown the correlation of these early convocations with Christ's ministry. After Pentecost there is a significant gap in our time line when no rehearsals are called for. Now we enter the seventh month. Seven is the number of completion and speaks of the conclusion of God's redemptive plan for mankind.
On the first day, Yom Teruah or the feast of Trumpets; points to the gathering of Yahweh's servants from the four corners of the earth at the sound of a trumpet. On the 10th day, Atonement or Yom Kippur points to Bema and White throne judgments. On the fifteenth day, Sukkot or Tabernacles signals the completion of The Lord's redemptive plan for man.
Rev 21:3-4 Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. NKJV
We choose to post dates of Kingdom holidays well in advance to give our readers the greatest possible chance to arrange their schedules. Some day we will live in the Kingdom so if we don't come to work or keep our appointments because of a holiday, everyone will understand. Until then, planning gives the best chance to participate in His holidays.
